Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information CREATRA collects through CREATRA, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and account type.
  • Creator applications and profiles: portfolio links, specialisations, tools, experience, rate, bio, photos and uploaded work.
  • Business details: company name, website, location and description.
  • Activity: jobs, proposals, hire requests, messages, attachments, saved jobs, likes, reports and notification settings.
  • Technical data needed to run the service, such as sign-in sessions and basic server logs.

We don't collect payment details: CREATRA doesn't process payments.

How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and show your public profile or jobs.
  • To review creator applications and keep the marketplace safe, including investigating reports.
  • To deliver messages, proposals and notifications, including emails you can turn off in your dashboard.
  • To answer support requests and meet legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Who can see what

  • Public: approved creator profiles and published work, open jobs and company names.
  • Only the people involved: proposals, hire requests and messages are visible to the business and creator concerned.
  • Job attachments: only the job owner, approved creators while the job is open, and our admins.
  • Our admins can see applications and reports in order to run the marketplace.

Service providers and storage

We use trusted providers to run CREATRA: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage, hosted in Sydney, Australia), Vercel (website hosting, which may serve pages from locations outside Australia) and an email delivery provider for account and notification emails. They process information only to provide their services to us.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep your information while your account is open. When you close your account we delete your profile, your content and the messages you sent, except where we need to keep something for legal reasons or to resolve a dispute or report.

Your choices and rights

  • You can update most profile details from your dashboard and turn notification emails on or off.
  • You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, by contacting our support team (see the Support page).
  • If you have a privacy concern, contact us first. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We'll post any changes to this policy here with a new date, and tell you about significant changes.
